Publish an online restaurant menu? Here is what is available

MenuDock cannot host a public restaurant menu yet. You can create and export a design with Menu Maker today; a hosted, updateable online menu is a planned next step.

01

MenuDock does not host restaurant menus yet

There is no MenuDock publishing dashboard, public menu page, or stable restaurant menu URL available today. We do not offer a service for uploading a menu to MenuDock and sharing it with guests.

If you need an online restaurant menu now, use a platform that currently publishes public pages. Menu Maker can still help you create a menu design and export or share the resulting file from your phone.

02

What the future MenuDock workflow is intended to include

  1. Create: design a menu from a template in the Menu Maker app.
  2. Publish: put the menu on a public MenuDock page guests can visit without installing an app.
  3. Generate a code: make a QR code that points to the public menu URL.
  4. Update: change the published menu while keeping the same URL and printed QR code.

The create step exists in Menu Maker. The other steps are product plans, not launched features.

03

Prepare clear content before you publish anywhere

Keep a current list of item names, prices, descriptions, and availability. Group dishes into recognizable sections and test long names in the design so they do not crowd the price or become hard to read on a phone.

See the restaurant menu design guide, learn what a digital menu includes, or review the distinction between a QR menu and hosted publishing.
